LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland fire crews recently conducted vertical ventilation training.
The important training involved cutting a hole in the roof of a burning building to release heat and smoke.
Doing so makes conditions better for crews inside the building.
The training prop used was built by firefighters for the training.
